<p>Ok. Well I guess Im back again. with lots of guilt! O_O! At some time I ended up gaining more weight. I was up to 127! and feeling really misserable. I finally gave up and joined a gym and even got a trainer. I have been going now for almost 2 months once a week. I just started to lose weight after all that exercising. I have even been able to do one chin up! Hooray for me!!! I better start to eat better.</p>

<p>I have a problem with getting enough sleep&#8230;. and that is bad&#8230;. of course&#8230; For one, I feel tired most of the time. I get up and my body aches and I feel so stiff. I never wake up with enough time in the morning to enjoy getting up. I only have enough time to get the basics done. I eat breakfast (cereal b/c its fast) and I take a shower and get ready (I just blow dry my hair, I don&#8217;t even wear make up). And some how I still get to work late every day.</p>
<p>I have always had sleeping problems as a child, teenager and now as an adult. Before, I slept late because I just could not fall to sleep. I must have been stressed out all the time. As I got older and felt more in control of my life I guess I feel less stressed out so I don&#8217;t have as much problems with insomnia. Now, my problem is I just don&#8217;t want to go to sleep. I spend so much time at work that I want to stay up and entertain myself and do all the reading and Internet surfing, etc etc.. that I want to do and &#8220;I don&#8217;t want to go to bed&#8221; My eyes are blurry and I feel like a 3 year old that wants to prove she can stay up late.</p>
<p>What can convince me to go to sleep!!??? My other problem, also is that I start to wake up at night. I can be dragging my body around like a useles carcass but once it hits 9pm I don&#8217;t feel so sleepy any more. ARRRGGG what do I do!!???</p>
<p>Has any one else had this problem? can any one give me some advice? I would appreciate it.</p>

<p><em>The day I finally started to eat healthy.<br />

I was always a skinny child and teenager. I had a fast metabolism and I ate french fries and burgers every day of my life. I should have been a chunky monkey but my good genes and daily P.E. (while in school) kept me in shape&#8230;. but then it happened.. I graduated high school and started college and then began my issue with weight. From lack of exercise I started to gain and gain and gain. I went from 115 pounds in high-school to my largest which was 135lbs. I even shocked myself. Some how it never occurred to me that I was getting fat and out of shape.</p>
<p>I tried a few different diets. Not many because I have no self control and a giant appetite. Slim fasts would keep me full for 2 hours tops. 3 if I was lucky. My other problem was I ate really bad. I hated vegetables and I did not even like fruit. I tried doing the atkins things which I would never recommend and finally one day I over heard one the woman who I worked with mention she had lost a bunch of weight on weight watchers.  That peaked my interest so I checked it out.</p>
<p>I found a weight watchers meeting location and went. I had no intereset in the meetings. I just wanted the point book. It seemed so simple. You only counted points not calories. It was a small number like 20 some points. but that was a lot easier then counting a 100&#8242;s of calories. Im terrible at math. :-p. And then!!! they even gave you a book with fast food options that I could eat and stay within my points.!! It was very easy. I learned a lot from that. I even learned to eat better. I found that I could eat more healthy food for less points and stay full longer then eat a small burger and fries and for the same number of points and then get hungry much sooner.</p>
<p>I know what I am saying seems like common sense but I was a really bad eater. You don&#8217;t even understand. When I was younger I used to think I probably would die from a heart attack at 20 from all the burgers and fries I had eaten in my teens. Again I was not fat but I was not healthy either. I got sick all the time and every time I would bite the inside of my mouth by accident it would turn into a sore that would take forever to heal and there I was with a mouth in pain. Even this problem went away when I stopped eating so many burgers and started eating real healthy food. Now for the most part when I bite the inside of my mouth it heals.</p>
<p>The other aspect of Weight Watchers is the meetings. I never went to the meetings because I am more of a solitary person. I&#8217;m not the type who needs re-enforcement from others to get to my goals. That&#8217;s just me. I&#8217;m not saying that it&#8217;s good or bad. I think for me. I don&#8217;t hang around to many people so I don&#8217;t have as much pressure to eat bad all the time because I&#8217;m not out with my friends seeing them eat yummy fattening food. So I don&#8217;t have much pressure in that respect. But I&#8217;m sure that it is probably good for some people to join the meetings. I had to site through one when I signed up and the speaker was giving good ideas on low calorie food.</p>
<p>In the end I feel like Weight Watchers was the gate way to the much healthier life style I live today. What I liked is that I had finally learned what is was to eat healthy, I started to see food in a different way, and the best part was I did not have to buy any special diet foods to follow a program. I learned how to deal with the food around me. (as a side note. I have a friend who did Jenny Craig and she lost weight but gains it right back when she is not eating there food. so sad.)</p>
<p>At this point I no longer follow the Weight Watchers points system. I&#8217;m down to a weight where I have to be more accurate with my calories to get the type of results I&#8217;m looking for. Those last 5 pounds are a pain to lose.  I now count calories and calculate my BMR to make sure I am eating the right amount of food a day.</p>
<p>I would recommend joining Weight Watchers to any one who does not know how to eat properly and needs some one to help guide them to a healthier life style. Eating healthy is a permanent change. Not something to do for a few months to get ready for Bikini Season or for their wedding.</p>

<p>I decided Im going to do reviews on products or diets I have tried in the past and how well they worked. I hope you don&#8217;t think that just because I did not stick to any particular diet plan or workout plan that it did not work. Some did but, like with the exercise, I get bored fast and want to try something different.</p>
<p><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-30" style="margin-right:8px;" title="bodyflexcover" src="http://cloudette.files.wordpress.com/2009/03/bodyflexcover.jpg?w=100&#038;h=182" alt="bodyflexcover" width="100" height="182" />This review is going to be a Weight loss Breathing Program called &#8220;Body Flex&#8221; by Greer Childers. I tried the old VHS version with my sister many years ago. The program consists of some Funky deep breathing where you inhale as much air as you can, then you push it all out in one big burst and then suck in your stomach. Once you expelled all the air you then hold your breath while you hold a pose. My sister and I both tried these exercises together and you know what? We did the before and after measurement and we did find we lost inches off of our bodies. At the time I weighed a bit more and my sister has always been on the heavy side so I think that is why we noticed such a dramatic change from just breathing. When doing the breathing you realize how weak your lungs are, but they do get stronger as you continue doing it.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Ok, so the down side to this program</span>. It was really hard to do this with my sister because every time we took a breath it sounded and looked so funny we started busting a gut. It got so bad that we had to do the exercises separately since we could never hold our breath from the laughing. So, unless you want to hurt your sides laughing do this exercises on your own. I wont lie. They are embarrassing to do. But like I said before they worked when I tried them. The other problem is, the exercises get boring. One can only breath and hold a pose for so many times before you get tired of it.</p>
<p><strong>Pros: </strong>Exercises work and you lose weight while building your lung capacity.<br />
<strong>Cons:</strong> There embarrassing to do in front of others and if you like more activity in your exercises you will get bored quickly.</p>

<p>I guess I should be happy that its the same. My weight that is. I had some very yummy steak and potato left overs last night. Im sure I must have eaten about 8 ounces of red meat. And I have a feeling they used a whole stick of butter in the mashpotatos. Oh yes. and the drink. The one good thing about eating smaller portions of food is that you get buzzed a lot faster with less drink.</p>
<p>Today I wanted to talk about fruit. You should eat it pretty much.. I think. hee hee.. When Im good I eat two pieces of fruit every day as my between meal snacks. I eat a banana every day. For the most part &gt;_&gt; &#8230; Bananas are my favorite b/c  you don&#8217;t have to put them in a special container. You don&#8217;t have to clean them and you don&#8217;t have to wash your hands before you eat them. I like to call the peel &#8220;Natures Napkin&#8221;.. <img src='http://s0.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif' alt=':-D' class='wp-smiley' />   Not that I dont like washing my hands. But when your at work I try not to leave my desk too much. The next fruit after bananas has to be nectarines and peaches. Those involve the washing of the fruit and the hands before eating. :-p . Something else I notice when I eat my fruit everyday is that it helps me lose weight. But that is if Im consistent. The fruit keeps me full enough so Im not starving by lunch or dinner time and I eat a more sensible meal. PLUS!!! Its much more healthy to eat a 70 calorie banana then 100 calorie snack pack of empty carbs.</p>

<p>This is what I normally do when I try to maintain or lose weight. I weigh myself every day in the morning before I eat and after I use the bathroom.. &gt;_&gt; ahem&#8230; but this should give me the most accurate weight.</p>
<p>Right now&#8230;.. I seem to do a good job during the week. I may lose another pound by Friday. But then the weekend comes about and who knows what I end up eating or doing and the pound or two I lost during the week jumps back on!! It&#8217;s very frustrating but I have not yet motivated myself enough to be extra diligent during the weekend.</p>
<p>So far, so good today. I was good for breakfast and lunch. We will see about dinner. But I still have alot of problems falling to sleep and I am soooo tired all the time. <img src='http://s0.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif' alt=':-(' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

<p><strong>About me. </strong><br />
In the past year I gained 10 pounds going from 114 to 124 pounds. The people I know like to call it happy weight b/c I gained it after I meet my boyfriend. Before I met him, I ate to nourish my body and not for the enjoyment of eating. It worked out fine. But then&#8230; &#8220;HE&#8221; introduced me to cream sauce on Pasta!! and the french fries at Del taco!!! say what you will but those are good cheep french fries.. The other thing that happened to me was I am really out of shape. I used to take dance lessons and exercise regularly. Now I do NOTHING!</p>
<p>At this point I don&#8217;t really dream to even get back to 114. I would never get to enjoy food and booze if went that low. At this point I would be happy to lose 5 pounds and see how many of my skinny clothes I can get back into.</p>
