I decided Im going to do reviews on products or diets I have tried in the past and how well they worked. I hope you don’t think that just because I did not stick to any particular diet plan or workout plan that it did not work. Some did but, like with the exercise, I get bored fast and want to try something different.
This review is going to be a Weight loss Breathing Program called “Body Flex” by Greer Childers. I tried the old VHS version with my sister many years ago. The program consists of some Funky deep breathing where you inhale as much air as you can, then you push it all out in one big burst and then suck in your stomach. Once you expelled all the air you then hold your breath while you hold a pose. My sister and I both tried these exercises together and you know what? We did the before and after measurement and we did find we lost inches off of our bodies. At the time I weighed a bit more and my sister has always been on the heavy side so I think that is why we noticed such a dramatic change from just breathing. When doing the breathing you realize how weak your lungs are, but they do get stronger as you continue doing it.
Ok, so the down side to this program. It was really hard to do this with my sister because every time we took a breath it sounded and looked so funny we started busting a gut. It got so bad that we had to do the exercises separately since we could never hold our breath from the laughing. So, unless you want to hurt your sides laughing do this exercises on your own. I wont lie. They are embarrassing to do. But like I said before they worked when I tried them. The other problem is, the exercises get boring. One can only breath and hold a pose for so many times before you get tired of it.
Pros: Exercises work and you lose weight while building your lung capacity.
Cons: There embarrassing to do in front of others and if you like more activity in your exercises you will get bored quickly.
